Dell today announced the release of the Latitude 7212 Rugged Extreme Tablet, delivering performance, flexibility and reliability for extreme environments. The digital transformation in public safety, industry and the energy sector requires specific technologies designed with mobility and durability in mind. Organizations and businesses of all sizes rely on the proven performance of the new Dell tablet for mission-critical applications and workflows.

The Dell Latitude 7212 Rugged Extreme Tablet is built to withstand harsh environments, whether cold, hot, humid, sandy or seawater. This ruggedized tablet is lighter and more powerful than previous generations, while delivering longer battery life.

Weighing just under 1,3kg in base configurations, the device is powered by the latest 15W 6th and 7th generation Intel Core I-Series processors and offers up to 19 hours of battery life with two hot-swappable batteries. Our customers rely on their IT investments to be protected, so for all its enhancements, the tablet is backwards compatible with desktop docking and vehicle solutions, as well as enterprise-class security and manageability to protect data and sensitive information. The Latitude 7212 is purpose-built for the field and public safety.

The new Latitude 7212 Rugged Extreme tablet offers a competitive feature set on the market, while keeping IT budgets and end-user needs in mind. These include scalable performance with 6th and 7th generation Intel Core i-Series processors to support Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems; up to 16 GB of memory is twice the memory capacity of previous generation models; up to 1TB of PCI-Express NVMe SSD removable storage capacity for demanding users and applications requiring impressive speed and storage capacity; Dell's 4th generation Quad-Cool advanced passive and active temperature control system, using a sealed fan that effectively dissipates heat, preventing water and dust from entering the device; Minimize wires with support for a backwards-compatible docking station for desktop and in-car connections, and single-cable USB Type C.

Additional GPS positioning capabilities and optional integrated 4G LTE support are also available so users can connect to mission-critical systems on the go; Glove-ready, bright 11,6" FHD multi-touch display with Gorilla Glass for unparalleled outdoor viewing experience and durability.

Electric car Hyundai IONIQ 6 18.07.2022

The Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Company has officially announced the serial version of the Hyundai IONIQ 6 electric car. The model is a sedan with the most aerodynamic "sloping" silhouette, its overall dimensions are 4855 x 1880 x 1495 mm (wheelbase - 2950 mm).

Just like other brothers in the IONIQ line, the novelty is based on the proprietary Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) with support for 400/800V charging architecture. Buyers will be offered a single-engine rear-wheel drive RWD version or a twin-engine all-wheel drive AWD version. In the latter case, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 electric car will receive a power of 239 kW and a torque of 605 Nm, which allows it to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 5,1 seconds.

It will also be possible to choose two battery options - 53 kWh or 77,4 kWh, a more capacious option will provide a range of 610 km on the WLTP measuring cycle. From a powerful 350 kW high-speed charge, it takes only 10 minutes to charge from 80 to 18% of the battery capacity. It also supports V2L (vehicle-to-load) technology, which turns an electric car into a mobile power generator.

The driver gets at his disposal two 12-inch screens with basic digital data and additional / entertainment information, respectively. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems are supported, as well as dual-channel Bluetooth connection with smartphones, for example, you can use one for calls and the other for streaming music at the same time.

The car is equipped with a digital assistant system - the driver receives a whole complex under the general name Hyundai SmartSense (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
