Canon has expanded its lineup of professional camcorders with the EOS C200. According to the developers, this is the first camera to support a new kind of RAW format - Cinema RAW Light. This file format offers the same color grading flexibility as Cinema RAW, but at a smaller file size.

Equipped with dual DIGIC DV200 processors, the Canon EOS C6 can record 4K video at up to 50 fps or Full HD movies without cropping at a maximum image refresh rate of 120 fps. The camera is based on an 8,85-megapixel Super-35 CMOS sensor, complemented by Dual Pixel CMOS AF autofocus system with focus selection function on the touch screen. It also supports 15 stops of dynamic range in Cinema RAW Light and 13 stops of MP4.

The manufacturer notes the relatively low weight of the camera (1,4 kg) and the convenient shape of the body, adapted for long-term handheld shooting. In addition, the Canon EOS C200 can be mounted on a drone or a gyro stabilizer. Thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet modules, the shooting process can be remotely controlled via a browser, and the finished material can be sent via FTP.
