Western Digital iNAND 7350 256GB Smartphone Drive

Western Digital, under the brand name SanDisk, has introduced a new generation e.MMC 5.1 embedded flash module designed for use as a drive in smartphones, phablets and tablets.

The product received the designation iNAND 7350. 3D NAND technology is used in its manufacture. There are models with a capacity of 32, 64, 128 and 256 GB.
It is noted that the solutions of the iNAND 7350 series provide fairly high performance. So, the speed of writing information reaches 250 MB / s. The number of input / output operations per second (IOPS) is up to 22 thousand random reads.

Module dimensions are 11,5 x 13 mm with a thickness of 0,8 to 1,2 mm (depending on capacity).

Western Digital says the new products are suitable for ultra-high-definition video, professional-grade photography, augmented reality applications, and more.

It is expected that iNAND 7350 modules will be installed not only in cellular devices and tablets, but also in game consoles, Chromebooks and other gadgets.
