Electronics monitors the pulse and respiratory rate of patients

Employees of the American company "Lucent Technologies Bell Labs" have developed a device that allows you to monitor the pulse and breathing rate of patients with heart disease in real time.

The principle of operation of this device is as follows. Device sensor located a few centimeters from the patient's chest. It is connected to a mobile phone, which transmits the collected data over existing cellular networks to the nearest medical facility equipped with this measuring system.

This device will be the first signs that marked the beginning of the era of mobile medicine.
