D-Link DCS-8200LH HD Home Surveillance Camera

The DCS-8200LH HD home surveillance camera has expanded the range of D-Link. The novelty is estimated at 140 dollars.

First of all, the device stands out with a viewing angle of 180 degrees. At the same time, the camera captures video in 720p format, which distinguishes it, for example, from the more expensive DCS-2630L model. Support for the IFTTT service allows you to connect the camera to most modern smart home devices, online services, and so on. D-Link does not offer any native video storage for this camera, although the MyDlink Home service allows you to view the image from the camera in real time. The camera can also save video to a memory card.

The novelty is able to respond to movement or noise, as well as to see in the dark.

The D-Link DCS-8200LH HD camera is based on a 1-megapixel 1/2,7-inch sensor, equipped with 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and weighs 165g.

Toyota Mirai hydrogen sedan billboards purify the air 28.03.2017

Toyota is starting to install unique billboards in Los Angeles and San Francisco (California, USA) that literally clean the air of harmful substances.

The panels advertise a Mirai sedan with a hydrogen fuel cell power plant. Vehicles with such units have unique environmental characteristics. The only product released during the operation of the plant is pure water. At the same time, the emission of carbon dioxide and other harmful substances and compounds into the atmosphere is zero.

The new billboards are just designed to draw attention to the absence of harmful emissions from Mirai. The panels are able to remove nitrogen oxides NOx from the air, which have a harmful effect on human health and are the cause of acid rain.

Nitrogen oxides are produced in the atmosphere both by natural phenomena such as lightning and forest fires and by human activities such as the operation of car engines. Toyota's new billboards are coated with titanium dioxide, a chemical reaction that converts nitrogen oxides into nitrates and removes them from the air.

In total, Toyota plans to install 37 cleaner air billboards. These panels are said to be able to remove as much nitrogen oxides from the air as nearly 5300 cars emit in a month.
