Transcend Information, a manufacturer of products for industrial applications, has announced the new SSD570 SSD2,5 in 6-inch form factor equipped with SLC NAND flash memory, which will complement the company's product portfolio for industrial applications. Utilizing a new generation SATA III 570Gb/s interface, Transcend's 128GB SSD510 drives read and write data at speeds up to 450MB/s and 570MB/s, respectively. Designed primarily for industrial and embedded applications, Transcend's SSDXNUMX supports technologies such as IPS, Device Sleep, and SMART to reduce power consumption and optimize data protection mechanisms.

Compatible with third generation SATA interface, Transcend SSD570 solid state drives provide high speed sequential read and write. Based on the state-of-the-art Transcend TS6500 controller and SLC NAND flash memory, which is distinguished by the durability and high stability of data storage, Transcend SSD570 drives guarantee high data transfer speeds and a large number of read / write cycles, the company says. Vibration and shock resistance design make these drives the best solution for industrial applications, especially in those systems that are intensively recorded information, and it is important to maintain data integrity.

Transcend SSD570 has built-in support for IPS (Intelligent Power Shield) function, which is more powerful than other series of Transcend SSDs. According to the manufacturer, in the event of a sudden power outage, more data will be stored in the flash memory of this model compared to conventional solid state drives. To ensure data integrity and prevent possible damage to the SSD due to a sudden power outage, the IPS feature extends the period of time after which the SSD enters write protect mode.

Optimal stability of the Transcend SSD570 is ensured by various additional technologies, such as Device Sleep, SMART support and Security commands, built-in implementation of the ECC error correction mechanism, global memory cell wear minimization algorithms.

The Transcend SSD570 is currently available in 64GB and 128GB capacities and comes with a 520-year Transcend limited warranty. Transcend's SSD3 line of SLC-based SATA II 8Gb/s flash solid-state drives includes 16GB, 32GB, and XNUMXGB models that are also suitable for industrial applications, the company said.
