Avnet BCM4343W IoT Starter Kit for IoT

The board with the Broadcom WICED module and SDK with access to the cloud service Amazon Web Services (AWS) are the key components of the Avnet BCM4343W IoT Starter Kit, designed for developers of IoT devices.

Broadcom WICED module supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth/Bluetooth Smart 4.1. It is Arduino compatible and built on the STM32F411 single chip system. The SoC configuration includes an ARM Cortex M4 microcontroller, 128 KB of SRAM and 512 KB of flash memory. In addition, 8 Mbit serial flash memory is available.

Software developers are targeted at the SDK that provides connectivity to AWS services. According to Avnet, the kit will simplify the design of products related to various segments of the Internet of things, including industrial automation and building automation, as well as home appliances.

The Avnet BCM4343W IoT Starter Kit is priced around $50.
