Waterproof AC-DC adapters Mean Well OWA-90E

Mean Well has developed a series of OWA-90E waterproof adapters with 90W output power. The power supplies are made in a plastic case with a low degree of flammability (94V-0) according to the IP67 protection class against external influencing factors and have the II class of protection against electric shock (protective grounding is not required).

The new adapters are highly efficient (90% typ.), have a power factor correction circuit and can operate over a wide temperature range of -40...+70°C.

Structurally, the power supplies have an input cable with a plug and an output cable with an XLR connector at the end. Adapters are available for standard output voltage in the range of 12...54 V. New adapters are protected against short circuit, overload, overvoltage and overheating.

OWA-90E series adapters are designed to power various consumer and industrial portable or stationary electronics operating in harsh climatic conditions or in dusty and humid environments.

LDB - DC-DC Buck-Boost LED Driver Series 16.05.2015

Mean Well has released a universal series of buck-boost LED drivers - LDB - for the already existing step-down (LDD) and step-up (LDH) series of DC-DC LED drivers.

The new series of drivers operates in the output current stabilization mode and has a wide input and output voltage range without a rigid connection between them and a wide temperature range. Drivers are produced for the value of the output current from the range: 300, 350, 500, 600 mA, they have the possibility of dimming and remote on-off.

Power supplies of the LDB-L/LW series have a built-in noise filter and comply with the requirements of the EN55015 standard without the use of additional elements. Drivers are available in two housing options: for soldering to a board (DIP-24) and for volumetric mounting (version with wires). The new drivers are designed to power high-power LEDs and LED modules in indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures.
