Adata Technology, a global manufacturer of high-speed RAM modules and NAND flash devices, has introduced the SR1010 enterprise-class server SSD. The novelty supports comprehensive data encryption, is characterized by security, high performance and compatibility with various operating systems. The Adata SR1010 drive is available in 100 GB, 240 GB and 480 GB capacities and is the optimal solution for upgrading production servers, data centers and embedded devices, Adata told CNews.

For servers and data centers, sudden system failure means countless damage and loss of vital information. Commercial servers need a strong mechanism to protect against such scenarios. With PLP (Power-Loss Protection) technology, Adata SR1010 helps prevent catastrophic data loss caused by system failures - power outages or failure of data center backup generators. In addition, the drive supports SMART drive health monitoring technology to help ensure data integrity and improve drive performance, the company says.

The SR1010 SSD is TCG Opal 2.0 and IEEE 1667 compliant, making it the best choice for companies that use CMS (Central Management Software) as part of their data protection policy. In addition, the new product complies with the Microsoft eDrive standard, which helps prevent data leakage by completely deleting all information when the drive is reused. The novelty is a self-encrypting drive (Self-Encrypting Drive) and provides an affordable way to secure data stored in data centers, indicated in Adata.

The Adata SR1010 SSD is compatible with Linux operating systems such as SUSE Enterprise and Red Hat Enterprise, VMware and Citrix virtual machine technologies, and is Microsoft WHQL certified. In addition, it uses NAND Flash technology. The combination of these factors allows the SR1010 drives to provide wide compatibility and stability. Using Seagate SF2581 controllers with sequential read/write speeds up to 550/550 MB/s, you can achieve random read/write speeds of 4K blocks up to 73K/45K operations per second. In addition, according to Adata, the device has an MTBF of up to 2 million hours.
