Chinese electric bus BYD - 325 km on a single charge

Electric buses from Chinese company BYD have set a new record in Europe for green transport: they were able to cover 325 km on a single charge and still have 8% battery charge at the end of the trip.

Today, all companies involved in the production of electric vehicles are working on a solution to the problem of increasing the power reserve. The Chinese company BYD is no exception: its electric buses recently set a new record in Europe, covering a distance of 325 km on a single charge. Interestingly, the battery retained 8% charge by the end of the journey.

It is worth noting that the previous European record also belonged to BYD - 310 km on a single charge. And by the end of the trip, 31% of the battery charge remained. These figures were recorded in 2013 on a trip between Warsaw and Krakow.

As for the world record, it remains unchanged. The record was set in Malaysia, where local electric buses, according to representatives of Prasarana Transit, were able to cover more than 400 km on a single charge. So far, no other manufacturer has been able to achieve such indicators for electric buses.

Chinese record-breaking electric buses are currently operating in Copenhagen, where since January this year they have successfully confirmed their ability to work without interruption even in the harsh Scandinavian winter.

BYD electric buses are currently used in more than 25 European cities. In Ankara, BYD electric buses have already proven themselves from the best side, allowing to reduce the operating and operating costs of public transport by 80-90%.
