Samsung 4K 110" TV

The South Korean manufacturer is launching the world's largest 4-inch (110m) Ultra HD (2,8K) TV in Europe, the Middle East and China. The model was first presented at CES in January 2013.

The screen size of the S9110 TV is larger than a double bed (2,6 x 1,8 m). The screen resolution is 3840 x 2160 pixels, four times higher than Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels).
Although sales of the S9110 should start today, December 30, 2013, its price is still unknown. It is worth mentioning that a similar Samsung TV with a smaller diagonal of 85 inches began to be sold in 2013 at a price of $40.

In December 2013, Samsung introduced the world's first 105-inch curved TV. The same device was announced by LG Electronics on the same day.

According to NPD DisplaySearch, Samsung is the world's largest TV manufacturer by revenue. LG takes the second place.

According to analysts, the UHD format will help stimulate demand for TVs. NPD DisplaySearch predicts UHD TV shipments to the global market will grow 2014 times in 6,7 to 12,7 million units, up from 1,9 million in 2013.

It is worth noting that the championship in size among all TVs S9110 does not belong. In 2010, Panasonic Corporation introduced a plasma TV with a diagonal of 152 inches.
