Toshiba TC7761WBG Wireless Power Receiver

Toshiba has launched the TC7761WBG chip, which implements the function of a wireless power receiver that complies with the Qi standard (version WPC 1.1). According to the manufacturer, the novelty will find application in mobile devices, including smartphones.

One of the requirements for integrated circuits for mobile devices, including smartphones, is low heat generation to avoid overheating. The TC7761WBG receiver is manufactured using a combined CMOS-DMOS technology. According to the manufacturer, this helped to reduce heat generation by up to 70% compared to a similar product. At the same time, the efficiency of energy conversion reaches 95%. An integrated protocol authentication circuit eliminates the need for an external microcontroller, simplifying system building.

The TC7761WBG is Qi-certified for 3,5W output power (5W max power). Chips are available in WCSP28 packages.
