Palit's GeForce GTX 3 JetStream 760D Card

Palit Microsystems has announced the release of the GeForce GTX 3 JetStream 760D card. A characteristic feature of the novelty is the Palit proprietary JetStream cooling system. According to the manufacturer, coupled with an improved power subsystem that uses DrMOS regulators, the JetStream cooling system ensures stable operation of the card's components at higher frequencies.

Compared to the reference Nvidia GeForce GTX 3 760D card, the Palit GeForce GTX 3 JetStream 760D card is overclocked by 8%. More precisely, the base frequency of the GPU is increased from 980 to 1072 MHz, increased - from 1033 to 1137 MHz. The effective memory frequency has been increased from 6008 to 6200 MHz.

The design of the JetStream cooler includes two 90mm fans. According to the manufacturer, JetStream lowers the GPU temperature by 10 °C compared to the reference cooler. At the same time, it works quieter - the difference reaches 5 dB.

At the same time, the Palit GeForce GTX 760 model is presented, resembling a reference sample and operating at recommended frequencies.

The Palit GeForce GTX 760 JetStream and Palit GeForce GTX 760 are configured with 2 GB of memory. The memory bus width is 256 bits. Both cards are equipped with DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. They receive additional power via two six-pin connectors. Power consumption is specified as 170 watts.

Infineon has introduced a new family of pin-to-pin DC/DC buck converters, the OPTIREG Switcher TLS412xD0x. Designed for automotive applications, these converters are compact and require only five additional piping components. With an input voltage of 3,7 to 35 V, the converters are capable of delivering 3 to 10 V at the output at a current of 2 or 2,5 A.
