Monitor Samsung S27B971DS with PLS panel 2560 x 1440 pixels

The range of Samsung monitors has been replenished with the S27B971DS model. At the heart of this device is a PLS panel - a modified version of IPS - with a diagonal of 27 inches and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Outwardly, the novelty is characterized by a very elegant design, which practically did not affect functionality: although the stand does not support the pivot function, it allows you to tilt the panel and adjust the height in the range of 10 cm. MHL (corresponding cable included).

According to the manufacturer, the viewing angles of the device vertically and horizontally are 178 degrees, the response time in Gray-to-Grey mode is 5 ms. The LCD panel also features 300 cd/m1000 brightness, 1:16 contrast ratio and factory calibration. Programmable XNUMX-bit lookup tables (LUTs) are used to represent color.

Samsung S27B971DS is endowed with three video inputs: DisplayPort, DVI and HDMI. Its overall dimensions are expressed by the formula 645 x 567 x 247 mm, weight is 7,5 kg. The declared power consumption of the device in operating mode is 53 watts.
The novelty has already appeared in the offer of some online stores in Europe, where it is offered at a price of 980 euros.
