Revolutionary smartphone from Nokia

Nokia is gradually trying to catch up and find a new place in the market with its Lumia series of smartphones. In addition to expanding the range, the company is going to rely on innovative solutions. Marko Ahtisaari, head of Nokia's design division, said in a recent interview with the Finnish newspaper Kauppalehti that the company is currently working on a new revolutionary smartphone that will not leave competitors a single chance.

Nokia's chief designer said that the Apple iOS user interface on the iPhone is too weak and confusing. "The way from the kitchen to the dining room is always through the front door," he said of a product from one of its biggest competitors. At the same time, he described operating systems like Symbian and Android as "dollhouses" with furniture that can be taken and rearranged. And the interface of Windows Phone, as expected, Mr. Ahtisaari described as the most natural. A revolutionary new smartphone will send this system even further into the future.

He does not give details about the new device yet, however, based on the interview, some assumptions can be made: it will be possible to control the smartphone without bending its case and without even touching the display. Most likely, they mean some analogues of the MS Kinect motion controller and the Apple Siri voice interface. Specific plans for bringing technologies to market and the emergence of a product based on them have not yet been specified.
