Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with Android 4.0

Samsung has officially announced the release of its first tablet with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Galaxy Tab 2 shown in the illustrations is similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab.

The basis of the tablet was a dual-core processor operating at a frequency of 1 GHz. The configuration includes 1 GB of RAM, 8, 16 or 32 GB of flash memory, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 wireless connectivity. Versions with and without 3G support will be offered. In equipment, it is worth noting two cameras (VGA resolution on the front surface of the device and 3 megapixels on the back) and a microSD slot.

The tablet supports HSPA+ (3G version) and comes with a 4000 mAh battery. The resolution of the seven-inch PLS TFT screen is 1024 x 600 pixels. The thickness of the device is 10,5 mm.

Residents of Albion will be the first among Europeans to buy the novelty - March is named the start date for sales of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 in the United Kingdom. Prices for models with Wi-Fi in Europe start from 420 euros, for models with Wi-Fi and 3G - from 520 euros.
