Smartphone iQOO U5e

The iQOO brand, owned by Vivo, released the iQOO U5 smartphone in December last year, and the iQOO U5x model in March. Now he has expanded the range of the line with a new device, dubbed iQOO U5e.

The iQOO U5e features a 6,51-inch HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch for an 8MP selfie camera. On its rear panel is the familiar rectangular block, which includes a 13-megapixel main camera with f / 2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens (f / 2.4) and an LED flash.

The heart of the smartphone is the Dimensity 700 chipset. It also has up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 1 TB using a microSD card. The iQOO U5e runs the OriginOS Ocean shell based on Android 12 out of the box.

The iQOO U5e is powered by a 5000mAh battery that charges via USB-C port with a maximum output of 18W. Other highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3,5mm headphone jack, and 5G connectivity.

The iQOO U5e comes in two colors (black and white) and memory configurations - 4/128GB and 6/128GB. They cost 1399 yuan ($210) and 1499 yuan ($225), respectively.

The matching transformer BALF-SPI2-02D3 (balun) from STMicroelectronics allows you to significantly simplify the connection of the antenna to the S2-LP transceiver. The balun replaces a large number of LC matching elements, reduces board space and simplifies the logistics of electronic components.

In addition to bringing the complex impedance of the transceiver to a standard 50 ohms, the BALF-SPI2-02D3 balun contains a built-in filter, which increases the resistance to interference during reception and attenuates out-of-band emissions during transmission (more than 52 dB for 2fo).

BALF-SPI2-02D3 is made according to the original STMicroelectronics technology on a glass substrate and operates in an extended temperature range from -40°C to +105°C.
