Professional OLED display LG UltraFine Display OLED Pro

LG Electronics has introduced a professional OLED display aimed at video processing professionals, TV and film studios.

The LG UltraFine Display OLED Pro features over 8 million self-illuminating pixels using OLED technology to deliver perfect blacks and accurate colors for true-to-life images.

In addition, LG OLED Pro allows you to achieve high image quality through extensive color correction. In particular, you can change the color temperature, R/G/B color gain, color coordinate selection (Native (sRGB) / DCI-P3 / BT709 / SMPTE-C (BT.2020) / EBU / Adobe RGB / NTSC) to correct the image closest to what is perceived by the human eye.

The LG UltraFine Display OLED Pro is equipped with dedicated SDI and SFP+ interfaces for professional video and broadcast processing. The display has 4 SDI interfaces and supports Single/Dual/Quad Link and various input/output resolutions (SD/HD/3G/6G/12G), ensuring the transmission of the original video without compression and re-encoding (tested transmission at 50m via 12G-SDI).

The new display also provides full support for HDR 10, HLG specifications and is compatible with the most advanced HDR standard - Dolby Vision. LG OLED Pro recognizes metadata parameters frame by frame, providing precise contrast variation from the brightest part of the frame to the darkest.

Unlike most displays, LG OLED Pro uses up to 25 color, brightness, and uniformity points to achieve white balance uniformity, and is calibrated using SuperSign WB software and specialized Calman software. High-precision calibration achieves display quality up to EBU Grade 1.

LG OLED Pro is equipped with a wide range of professional and specialized features. Starting from programmable hardware settings keys, image adjustment profiles, Gen-lock interface and GPI device connection interface to many software functions. Software LG OLED Pro is equipped with the ability to output SDI signal volume levels, compare HDR / SDR signals, increase the screen area, supports the Time code protocol, has built-in templates for color correction, supports screen markers, picture in picture, luminance spectrogram and color vector form, subtitles .
