SpaceX founder Elon Musk said that the company will be able to solve the problem of space debris in orbit with the help of Starship spacecraft equipment. He claims that the rocket will be able to "chew" space debris with the help of the fairing doors.

In the future, space debris could seriously complicate rocket launches into space. Now the US agency is tracking more than 27 space debris of various sizes, and there is no real solution to the problem yet.

The head fairing will be equipped with two giant doors that open like a beak. In fact, the mechanism was created to release the payload from the inside, but, presumably, it can be used to clear the orbit of space debris.
