Microcircuits KR142EN17A, KR142EN17B are continuous compensation voltage stabilizers with a fixed value of the output voltage and the ability to operate with a very small forward voltage drop of 0,3 V. Stabilizers of the KR142EN17 series are designed for use in power supplies for automotive electronic equipment, on-board computing and portable video equipment.
The devices are made according to the planar-epitaxial technology with p-n junction insulation and are packaged in a miniature plastic case KT-26 (Fig. 1). Weight of the device - no more than 0,3 g.

A typical circuit for switching on microcircuit stabilizers KR142EN17A KR142EN17B is shown in fig. 2. The diagram shows the minimum allowable capacitance of capacitors C1 and C2.
The microcircuits are suitable for mounting by group soldering or manual mounting. In the second case, the temperature of the soldering iron should not exceed 265°C, the duration of soldering should not exceed 4 s. The maximum allowable number of resoldering during installation is three. The distance from the soldering point to the body is at least 3 mm. One-time bending of the leads is allowed at a distance of 3 mm or more from the body at an angle of 90 degrees, with a bending radius of at least 2,2 mm.
On fig. 3 shows the dependence of the minimum forward voltage drop of the microcircuit on the load current at various values of the ambient temperature, and in fig. 4 - frequency dependence of the input voltage ripple smoothing factor.

Asus has announced the premium tablet Asus ZenPad 3 8.0, which is equipped with a 7,9-inch IPS LED display with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and an oleophobic coating.
The device received a Snapdragon 650 single-chip system, which includes two ARM Cortex-A72 cores and four ARM Cortex-A53 cores, as well as an Adreno 510 GPU and an X8 LTE modem. The amount of RAM can be 2 or 4 GB, non-volatile memory in the device can be 16 or 32 GB.
