ENCYCLOPEDIA OF RADIO ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Section 1 General Rules Norms of acceptance tests. Oil circuit breakers Encyclopedia of radio electronics and electrical engineering / Rules for the installation of electrical installations (PUE) 1.8.19. 1. Insulation resistance measurement: a) moving and guiding parts made of organic materials. Produced with a megohmmeter for a voltage of 2500 V. The insulation resistance must not be less than the values given below:
b) secondary circuits, electromagnets for switching on and off, etc. Produced in accordance with 1.8.37. 2. Testing of inputs. Produced in accordance with 1.8.34. 3. Assessment of the state of intra-tank insulation and insulation of arc extinguishing devices. The assessment is made for tank oil circuit breakers for a voltage of 35 kV if, when measuring tg δ of the bushings on a fully assembled circuit breaker, higher values are obtained compared to the standards given in Table 1.8.30. Intra-tank insulation and insulation of arc extinguishers must be dried if the exclusion of the influence of this insulation reduces the measured tg δ by more than 4% (absolute value). 4. Insulation test with increased voltage of industrial frequency: a) isolation of switches relative to the body or support insulation. Produced for switches with voltage up to 35 kV. The test voltage for switches is taken in accordance with the data in Table 1.8.16. The duration of application of the normalized test voltage is 1 min. The insulation of intercontact gaps of oil circuit breakers 6-10 kV should be subjected to a similar test. b) isolation of secondary circuits and windings of electromagnets of switching on and off. The value of the test voltage is 1 kV. The duration of application of the normalized test voltage is 1 min. 5. DC resistance measurement: a) contacts of oil switches. The resistance of the current-carrying system of the pole of the switch and its individual elements is measured. The DC contact resistance value must correspond to the manufacturer's data; b) shunt resistors of arcing devices. The measured resistance value should differ from the factory data by no more than 3%; c) windings of electromagnets of switching on and off, the resistance value of the windings must comply with the instructions of the manufacturers. 6. Measurement of time characteristics of switches. Time characteristics are measured for circuit breakers of all voltage classes. Measurement of making and breaking speed should be made for breakers of 35 kV and above, when required by the manufacturer's instructions. The measured characteristics must be in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. 7. Measurement of the travel of the moving parts (traverse) of the circuit breaker, pressing the contacts when turned on, simultaneous closing and opening of the contacts. The values obtained must comply with the manufacturer's instructions. 8. Checking the adjustment and installation characteristics of mechanisms, drives and switches. It is produced in the scope and according to the norms of the manufacturers' instructions and passports for each type of drive and circuit breaker. 9. Checking the operation of the free release mechanism. The drive free tripping mechanism must allow for tripping operations over the entire course of the contacts, i.e. at any time from the start of the power-on operation. 10. Checking the minimum voltage (pressure) of the circuit breakers. The check of the minimum operating voltage is carried out pole by pole for circuit breakers with pole drives. The minimum operating voltage must comply with the standards established by the manufacturers of the switches. The value of the actuation pressure of the pneumatic actuators must be 20-30% less than the lower limit of the working pressure. 11. Testing switches by multiple trials. Multiple testing of circuit breakers - performing closing and opening operations and complex cycles (CO without time delay is mandatory for all circuit breakers; OB and OVO are mandatory for circuit breakers designed to operate in the AR mode) should be carried out at rated voltage at the terminals of the electromagnets. The number of operations and complex cycles to be performed by the circuit breaker must be:
12. Testing transformer oil switches. For tank circuit breakers of all voltage classes and low-volume circuit breakers of 110 kV and above, oil testing is carried out before and after oil is poured into the circuit breakers. For low-volume circuit breakers up to 35 kV, the oil is tested before being poured into the arc chutes. Oil testing is carried out in accordance with Table 1.8.33, paragraphs 1, 3, 4, 5. 13. Testing of built-in current transformers. Produced in accordance with 1.8.17. Table 1.8.16. Power frequency test voltage for external insulation of apparatus
