If for some reason you are not satisfied with the sound quality of the UMZCH on a specific instance of the TDA2004 or TDA2004A IC, then such a microcircuit can be used as a two-channel compensation type voltage stabilizer. Moreover, partially faulty specimens can be used as a voltage stabilizer, for example, if one of the channels does not work or even both amplifiers of the microcircuit are partially faulty. To work as a stabilizer, faulty specimens with a break in the "lower" output transistor of the IC are suitable. With such a malfunction, the microcircuit operating as part of the UMZCH makes a wheezing sound when operating on a low-resistance load. If you install an AL307KM LED instead of a zener diode, then the output voltage will be about 2,4 V. Instead of the TDA2004 IC, the TDA2004A is suitable. You can also try TDA2005S, A2000V, A2006V, DBL1032-D, LM2005, μPC2005 microcircuits.

All these microcircuits have a maximum supply voltage of +18 V, the minimum supply voltage for the A2000V, A2005V microcircuits is 4 V, for the rest it is 8 V.
