The labor process and the level of modern production technologies do not completely eliminate the adverse effects of production factors on the employee, i.e. in production there is always a risk of injury, illness or death of the employee.

The basis of an accident at work is an event that led to injury or other damage to a person’s health, which caused the loss of his professional ability to work or death. In order to recognize the connection of this event with the production, it is necessary that it occurred either when the victim performed his labor duties on the instructions of the employer, or in other cases established by law.

К accidents at work include injuries, acute poisoning, heat stroke, burns, frostbite, drowning, electrical injuries, lightning strikes, diseases, bodily injuries caused by exposure to biological production factors, as well as injuries received by an employee in emergency situations (building destruction, natural disasters and etc.).

Particular attention should be paid to circumstances indicating a connection with production. They specify the time, place of performance of labor duties, the nature of the tasks of the employer. In particular, in addition to the performance of labor duties, connection with production is assumed for accidents that occurred when the employee was traveling to the place of work or from work on the employer's transport, or personal transport used under an agreement or order of the employer for production purposes; when traveling on a vehicle as a shift during an inter-shift rest; when an employee is involved in the prescribed manner in the liquidation of the consequences of a catastrophe, accident and other natural and man-made emergencies; when performing actions not included in the employee's labor duties, performed in the interests of the employer or aimed at preventing an accident or an accident.

An accident can happen to any worker. Any such case must be investigated, and if it occurred with an employee subject to compulsory social insurance, or another person covered by this type of insurance, it serves as the basis for obtaining insurance coverage.

Electric car Lightyear One 26.06.2019

Startup Lightyear, founded by a group of Dutch students, has unveiled the Lightyear One electric vehicle with a WLTP range of 725 km. Solar panels on the roof and hood of the model, as well as the experience of participating in the World Solar Challenge competition for solar-powered vehicles, help to achieve such outstanding results.

In a year of use, solar panels on the roof and hood provide enough energy to cover a distance of 20,000 km. Battery capacity is not announced (except for a vague definition of "relatively small battery"), as the focus is on minimizing power consumption (83 Wh/km) rather than maximizing battery capacity.

The 5057x1898x1426 mm Lightyear One is a five-seat electric car built using high-tech, ultra-light materials, including carbon fiber and aluminium. It is driven by four electric motors in the wheels, which are controlled independently, providing full traction control. Engine power is not announced, but judging by the fact that it takes 100 seconds to accelerate to 10 km / h, they are not very productive.

Solar panels on the roof and hood cover 5 square meters of space, and the protective glass allows an adult to walk on these surfaces without any problems without damaging them. The cells are divided into zones so that the panel works even if the sun only hits part of it.

In addition to solar charging, which can add 12 km of range in 1 hour of charge, the Lightyear One Concept can also be charged from a household outlet with 3,7 kW (35 km of range per hour of charge), 22 kW wall charger (209 km of run per hour of charge) and even high-speed charges of 60 kW (570 km of run per hour of charge).

The full price tag of the model is 149 thousand euros or $170 thousand (leasing will cost 1879 euros or $2135 per month), while the first 100 copies have already been sold out, at the moment there is a subscription for the next 500 copies.
